UEFA chairman Michel Platini said that he would like to make a new Europien league-Balkanian league,in order to put Balkanian football on higher level. This league shoul count 11 countries:Slovenia,Hungary,Croatia,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Serbia,Montenegro,Macedonia, but also Romania,Bulgaria,Greece and Turkey.
This proposition already sounds good in few small Balkanian coutries, wich would have biggest interest for this leagus. So,first man of Montenegro's Football Assosiation Dejan Savicevic, who was recently one of the world best players, said that this league should start as soon as possible.Chairmans of Bosnian FA Ilja Dominikovic and Macedonian FA Haramplije Hagiristeski, said the same thing.
For now on,we can only imagine this league......so,let's try:From Serbia there would be Red Star,Partizan and Vojvodina.....from Croatia-Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split, but why not Osjek or Rijeka....from Montenegro-Buducnos Podgorica and maybe Zeta....from Macedonia-Rabotnicki and Vardar...From B&H-Sarajevo,Modrica or Zrinjski....from Slovenia-Maribor and Domzale....Greece would be the strongest part of this league with Olympiakos,Panatinaikos,Aris and AEK.....from Bulgaria there would be CSKA,Levski and Lokomotiva....from Romania-Steaua,Rapid,Dinamo.... from Turkey-Galatasaraj,Fener,Besektas....and from Hungary for now on,MTK is only.
Now it sounds like a good idea, because former Yugoslavia had one of stronger football league, with 30 000-40 000 fans on almost every match.Interresting thing is that it was league without foreign players.Today in Serbian and Croatian league there is at most 5 000-6 000 fans. Not to mention Macedonian or Montenegro league.
One thing is sure-countries of former Yugoslavia(Slovenia,Croatia,B&H,Serbia,Montenegro,Macedonia) have a good reasons to play this league. The question is-what about Greece,Romania,Turkey....who already have pretty strong leagues.
I am sure that they will find some kind of compromise because here,on these days, good old football can not be any more weaker.
