The father of Manchester United legend George Best Dickie Best has died a the age of 88. He has been hospital for 4 weeks.

My condolences to the BEST family.

It was very moving to see interviews of Richard talking about his son and it was apparent that he was prouder of the kind of person his son was than his footballing achievement.

This should be standard, but in today's world it was refreshing to see that character still matters.
