Robinho has declared that he has no interest in being part of a swap deal for Cristiano Ronaldo and that he does not fancy a move to Chelsea amid reports that the Blues are set to make a move.

The Brazilian international returned to Madrid after his summer holidays and told reporters that he if he had the choice then he would not be leaving the Bernabéu this summer.

With the ongoing saga Ronaldo saga throughout the summer, rumours suggested that los Merengues may tempt Manchester United into selling by including Robinho in the deal.

Chelsea's interest has also failed to impress the fleet-footed forward and he has insisted that remaining in Madrid is the only thing that he is considering.

"I do not want to be part of a deal to sign Cristiano Ronaldo," Robinho is quoted as telling reporters in AS.

"The thing in my mind is Madrid. I am not willing to be part of any swap deal. "I expect to stay here with Real Madrid."

One reason why Robinho may be leaving Madrid this summer, albeit temproraily, is for the Olympic Games in China, but he is philosophical about his chances.

"The national team has always been a priority for me. If the club lets me go then I will, but if not then I will remain in Madrid," he added.
