While Man Utd are reported to be interested in Lyon's Benzema and Ben-Arfa, i think it's good to take note of a 19-year-old that was signed by United recenty and very few know about.
His name is Rodrigo Pereira Possebon and Man Utd signed him from Sport Club Internacional and suprisingly enough this brazilian's deal manage to sneak pass many footy publications but after his debut for United in the reserves league against Blackburn i'm sure more people will hear of him.
Rodrigo Possebon began his football career playing for Internacional in a defensive midfield role.
Possebon was spotted by Manchester United's Brazil-based scout, John Calvert-Toulmin, who also recommended full-backs Fábio and Rafael. He was signed by Manchester United in January 2008 for an estimated €3.5 million, and since his father is of Italian descent, Possebon qualified for an Italian passport, and so was not subject to European Union legislation regarding non-Europeans working in Europe. Possebon has been allocated the number 34 shirt, which was vacated by Ryan Shawcross, for the remainder of the 2007-08 Premier League season. Due to United's plethora of midfielders, he is not expected to break into the first team straight away, though he is available for the first team if needed.
Interesting prospect indeed, but as it is Man Utd are already packed with superb midfield players such as Rodrigo's compatriot - Anderson.
