Rooney the new Solskjaer?

Wayne Rooney's introduction changed the game and led Alex Ferguson to joke afterwards: 'I have been trying to find a new Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a substitute - although I don't think Wayne would appreciate that,' laughed Ferguson.

'Wayne changed the game when he came on. He brought us thrust and enthusiasm and direct play. He attacked defenders and made a heck of a difference to the game.'

It is true that Rooney's introduction changed the game. But for this to happen SAF needs to bring a new striker to OT.

sorry put it in the wrong topic. Please move it. It was an accident my comp is s**t

Now that made me laugh a little bit.....

You realise you post this in the wrong place.....

And then blame your computer !!!!

This is the kind of thing I would do.......

Errrmmmm..........

So well done..........

I'm glad Fergie said this with his tongue in his cheek......

Nice joke Fergie !!

No Rooney means no wins....

No Rooney means some more of West Ham and Birmingham.....

And to be honest these 2 games sent me to sleep......

R-O-O-N-E-Y !!!!

I didn't think the games where boring, united where all over birmingham and althougth the only scored one there was alot of action.
but the second half was very bad.my heart was pounding every time we gave away the ball and birmingham attacked..........but as carly said without rooney the united team is just not the same..even if we hav tevez...........

were* were* ;)

Rooney once again showed his class and he seems to be the only player who can get Ronaldo playing ;)

With Rooney, Without Rooney,
We seem to lose when he doesn't play. Anyone else noticed that?
People have made a lot of the fact that we were without Rooney for all 4 of our defeats this season.

However, it should also be pointed out that we were missing Ronaldo for 3 of them (City, Coventry and Bolton) and would have beaten West Ham if Ronaldo had scored that penalty.

Missing 2 of your key players is a big loss for any side in the Prem.
i completely disagree.
As the last 2 games for united were boring and not much creative .
So No ROONEY = NO FUN WATCHING!
We lose when we dont play midfield tactics and we start clearing ball over mid to forwards, dosent work in this system. basically we defeat ourselves by method and lack of toughness, usually not lack of certain players. As for rooney like solks, yes he is a great finisher ,but as a routine sub, rooney will be coming on with more ability for a red card than a goal!lol
lol i dont think he will be the next OLE...rooney hates to come off and not being in the starting 11..thats what i like to see but supposedly we already signed a youth who is the next ole
yeah....ole was a super sub..but calling rooney a 'sub' is enough for him to leave united!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ehh............sort of.

Fans love him, scores great goals, loves the club, and has had a run of bad injuries. Look like a baby.............maybe! lol

Yeah, Wazza could go on to be something special!
No. What a load of shite.

NO player will be as happy as Ole to be coming off the bench one a month. Rooney is key to Uniteds success.

This thread is a joke.
Rooney as a 'sub' ...

When is he ever a sub ... ?

Except when rested ...

Maybe try this thread when he is 32 years old and can't keep up with the game huh ... ;)
