Let's hope so but I'll wait until the Manager's Press Conference on Friday before getting too excited.

Moussa said:I think Rooney's injury was never serious, but Man Utd made a fuss out of it just so he won't participate in the England matches and get hurt further more, just like what happened with Hargo before the Austria match. They claimed he's out due to injury just so he won't participate in a match which isn't crucial for England and risk his fitness. I hope Rooney gets back as soon as possible so we can turn the scousers defense afternoon into a torrid afternoon which they will never ever forget.![]()
I think Fergie was 'guilty' of this a few times with Mr Giggs too, lol.....Moussa said:I think Rooney's injury was never serious, but Man Utd made a fuss out of it just so he won't participate in the England matches and get hurt further more, just like what happened with Hargo before the Austria match. Good question actually.....Keano4taoiseach said:does it often make you sad the fact that Giggs never got to represent his country in an international competition....
He retired from international football to concentrate on United and so did Scholes, do you think they were pressured into this by Fergie...
Scholes had, would still have so much to offer to England.
Lampard, Hargreaves, Beckham, Gerrard are all superb midfielders in their own right but none of them have the same creativiy as Scholesy and perhaps that is what England are lacking when push comes to shove......
Since Becks went "off form" and Scholes retired. Gerrard has really struggled in the midfield; Lampard blows hot and cold. Says it all really. But, we digress, Rooney thread people.Keano4taoiseach said:does it often make you sad the fact that Giggs never got to represent his country in an international competition....
