He is amazing! Pure class and he can play centre back and rb just like our wesley...I would be the happiest person if he would move to OT BUT he is a Real Madrid player and buying someone from them when they are at their best or near their best and is a first team regular is very very difficult and would require a huge fee and most prob Real Madrid would say NO WAY and a spanish player playing for the most successful spanish club and in the world would want to move and learn a new language and go to a country where he has to prove himself from scratch and the weather is awful? I think that is very unlikley..the only time Madrid let their stars go is when they are too old like Roberto Carlos, Hiero, Figo, Ronaldo or when they got a replcement or they simply won't let them go like Raul and Casillas..

I really hope so! Arsenal nearly got Robinhio..he said it himself..the director just stoped the transfer last min..we apparently also gave an offer for Casillas and he many times gets unsettled..

The guy who started this thread must know nothing about football. Why would Sergio Ramos leave Real Madrid, where he is the first name on the teamsheet, to go to england. Life is perfect for him in spain and he is at a club as big as Man Utd. Why would Real Madrid sell Sergio Ramos, he is one of the very best full backs in the world and is on a huge contract. It would take an offer of about £50m for Real Madrid to even think about it. Suggestions are meant to be realistic, I would love it if we signed Messi and Ibrahimovic, BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE

Finally, someone who shares the same thoughts over this topic with me.
Tbh, the chances of him leaving are equivalent to the chances of Wayne Rooney leaving Manchester United. He loves the club, the team's great, the stadium's world-class, is on very good terms with the rest of the squad & could win major trophies, why would he even wishes to leave in the first place? I'm truly puzzled...players such as the likes of Philipp Lahm & Jose Bosingwa are much more realistic, wake up the dream's over mate! ;)

Ramos transfer scramble begins after Ronaldo bust-up 18 January 2011 - 18:36 | Sport.co.uk

Reports emanating from Spain this evening suggest that Sergio Ramos could be on the verge of leaving Real Madrid in the transfer window with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United on red alert.

Ramos, 24, has been at the Bernabeu since 2005 when he moved from Sevilla for a fee in the region of 27 million euros. The talented defender who can play at right back and centre-half was a key member of Spain’s European Championship win in 2008 and their World Cup win last summer.

The Madrid defender is considered one of the top defenders in world football and has been linked previously with the aforementioned English quartet. The versatile stopper will not be short of suitors if reports are confirmed that the club are open to offers for the Spanish international.

Reports in Spain suggest the reason for a move is a fall-out with star player Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as a breakdown in the re-negotiation of the player's new long-term deal at the Bernabeu. There is a suggestion Ronaldo has divided opinion in the Madrid locker room to such an extent, Ramos is seriously considering quitting the Bernabeu.

Renowned Le Parisien French football journalist Julien Laurens based in London, broke the news, revealing on his Twitter page that the talented Madrid defender could leave the Spanish giants.

“I've been told that Sergio Ramos could leave #RealMadrid. He would be perfect at #arsenal. World class player who'll bring winning mentality.”

Sport.co.uk endeavoured to contact the player's agent, but his representative was un-available to comment.

The Real Madrid defender has 72 caps for Spain.

Depending on the price, a move for him with a view to playing him as CB as well as providing RB cover would be good. I don't want Rafael to become second choice though, he's showing too much potential.

This was funny:
Ramos is a key player at Madrid....and to sign him would be imposible....him...Robinho...Raul..Casillas...can be called the untouchables of Real Madrid..
Wouldn't surprise me if Ronaldo had divided the dressing-room....
Let's hope he pisses off Higuain when he recovers from his injury

I agree. If we were to makea move for Ramos, it should be to play him as CB, I mean Rafa just looks too good to be suddenly put back on the bench.
