when records get compared sir matt gets ignored yet without munich and the modern thing of money being key he is in top 5 for me . 5 best for me are clough ,ferguson,busby,shankly,chapman in no particular order as the achievements are hard to compare . he was one of first to rely on youth . a little known fact is he was inspired by torino side of the forties and the 442 and youth reliance of that side . for anyone interested in footie history torino were a fantastic side sweeping all before them until an air crash in 1949 wiped out the team . they never recovered . the fact utd did was down to jimmy murphy and sir matt rip indeed
