Great post Sparkic...
...however I don't agree with it. That's not saying that you've not made a good
point, your entitled to your view.
I just have lost a huge amount of respect for him and the most annoying factor of
all to me is the one that "he" wore that number of the Busby Babes on the derby
game against City and he acts like this after! It's so incredibly disrespectful and
cruel to the players over the years who cherished that number...Best, King Eric,
Robbo an becks all gave it 100% an held the highest regard for their jersey.
This Portuguese money grabber is playing a very coy game and its all in a bid to
weasel money from anywhere. As for next season, I simply won't be lauding praise
on him even if he scores a hat-trick in every game. Football is about playing a
game made up where yo enjoy yourself, play as a team, respect your teammates
and aim for glory. Te last on that list is the only one that applies to Mr. Money
Grabber. The Irish members here may say that I'm listening to Eamon Dunphy too
much and he probably has had an effect on me. But however much I try to ignore
it, it just keeps coming back to me the things he says about this "wonder kid".
One major problem I have with him and always did was the arrogance he has,
almost Henry like the way he scores and looks around an shapes a smug look
on his face and makes it all about him, just makes me wish the camera will cut
view to the bench or the other players.
There's the on field things that annoy me and then there's the off field ones too.
Champions League, who was the only one to stay on the ground and not run and
cheer with his team and jump on the man who ended that dreaded shoot-out?
Why be different? When the team lifts the trophy, he seems to hang on and not
want to let it go. You have it for a year at least ffs, you'll get plenty of blooming
photos with it! Same with the league, Giggsy completes a truly magnificent
landmark and when the streamers and such go off, who's the first one down to
try and get hold of it? Another case of this is the viewing on the plane as they
touch down in Manchester. I'm sure everyone here if not most of the people here
saw the pictures on Sky and other stations of the players leaving the plane with
the two trophies and the photo that followed where they were all lined up on the
staircase thingy. 99% of that team were well dressed in their suits and all looked
like one. But the "worlds best player" decided, "**** it, I want to get the
attention and be seen by everyone!", as he leaned on the arm rail in a crisp white
shirt amongst the rest of the black jackets and ties for the photo. Then the most
disgraceful bit was his shoes. All white ones as he walked off following the lads
in front in their black shoes all uniting as one.
I could stay here all day and type numerous things that have really come to the
fore over the last few weeks and reasons why I'm not liking him now. Teammates
now are even wanting him gone. Tevez, "Let
[Him] Go To Real".
My current view and a view which I will stand by, let him go and take the money
where we can invest in the future!
SELL SELL SELL!
Edit:
Found a decent video higlighting the point I made abou him standing out from the
team
