I've only seen him make an error twice. Once for Madrid and on that occasion, he made sure he got the ball back and once in the Euros when he was outmuscled by Zlatan Ibrahimoovic.
Other than that, his reading of the game/positioning is superior to Wes Brown.
I just don't think we desperately need a right back, whereas we need a striker and Robinho can play as a striker AND as a left winger.
At the beginning months of the year, he was the best player in the world (first month a and a bit). Then Ronaldo overlapped him.
Theirs no need to have sour grapes, because he doesnt want to join Utd. I actually respect that he is committed to his club. A class guy on and off the field.
If Robinho was thrown in the deal, it will be fabulous, but the ramos en co.give me a break.we don't need more of wes Browns and silvesters please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Do you actually watch La liga and have you seen him in the Euros?!?!?
He had MOTM performances against Ialy and Russia. What are you talking about?
He is not clumsy!
He reads the game extremely well and has great ability with the ball. He is class defender and is a rolls royce defender! Wes Brown improved a lot last season, but is a Hyundai or Kia at best!
.... it's a pity we didn't mnage to sign him or the Fergie didn't even bid for him.
He had another good game last night. It wasn't a world class performance, but it was good.
He was dynamic on and off the ball, retained possession well, put in some good crosses, once a while he hugged the left touchline and stretched play whenever he received the ball by making good runs.
A good attacking midfielder, who we could use in our squad.
I know we won't sign him now that he's with Inter, but I do hope we could sign a player like Sneijder.
He seems unperturbed by big occasions, plays to win, moves well, has good ball control, can pick a pass, has a good range of passing, can cross and score..... a complete midfielder, so if anyone out there knows where we can get a carbon copy, who is available and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, please write an email to alex@manutd.com
i was so upset Milan signed hutnelaar over this guy personally. He had an injury plagued 08-08 but he was dynamite in 07-08 and in euros. He plays a lot like scholes (maybe it's fact they r both short, feisty and ugly), could easily play in a 4-4-2. Inter got him on a steal for 18 or so mil considering calderon paid 30 mil. (Real madrid at it's finest). Truthfully, they'd be better with him over kaka.... even if he isn't a 'galactico'

I do see a lot of Scholes in Sneijder though, but maybe Sneijder is more dynamic off the ball and his long range passing is not as accurate at Schloes (at his peak or when he's on form) I was quite surprised Madrid let him go when he was possibly their best player in 07/08.
Kaka is a great player no doubt, but Sneijder was already theirs and had proven he could do the business in La Liga. Why not keep him?

I highly rate Afellay, I was just asking is that him in the photos. I wouldn't mind signing him, but I would prefer Suarez, who has scored 35 goals in 34 appearances this season.
