Notice I dont say Berbatov is a bad player or its his fault he was a sparkler and were shining the first 15-20 mins only.

You are not right. I spoke that 4-3-3 is impossible for us. Because we have not strong enough centre. If he has not been swept up all match it isnt his problem, it is a problem of the central midf.

I think its a day to forget for Berbs in all honesty....

He started brilliantly, having a great shot and then setting up the goal, but there
was a moment in the first half where I think he lost the ball and he wanted a free
kick for it....he didn't get it and flapped his arms....very very quiet from there on
really.



Hopefully he'll calm down and bag that first goal to get the confidence going....

yet or used to how the lads play. He is also more effective in the standard 4-4-2
and to go to Anfield is always tough. Skertl is a tough cookie and will make
plenty of forwards look bad this season.
Berba WILL come good. Just give him a bit of time.

i think he made a few touches like that but i cant think of that one of the top of my head tbh

match fit and having to have along International break.

To be thrown into the mix at Anfield isn't an easy task....only Roy Keane is up to
that


Sure he may have faded out but he did well early on. Without doubt he's got the
best first touch in the team IMO....forget Ronaldo's touch, its all in the Berb!
