Star on the shirt??

Seeing we've now WON IT TEN TIIIIIIMMMMMEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!

Will we like other leagues around the world wear a star on our shirt to signify this superb feat? Juve for example have two stars having won over 20 Serie A titles..

I think we should, somethin we could sing songs about to p off Liverpool and Rent boy fans!

To clarify I am HIGHLY AWARE that we have won the top flight title 17 times.. I am merely referring to our recent milestone of 10 'Premiership Titles'. I of course am not disregarding titles won in the old first division.. this was merely a suggestion that this feat be marked in some way... the champions always wear gold premiership badges on their sleeves.. I'm suggesting something similar to mark this modern day achievement... I also dont appreciate my intelligence and following of my team being brought into question..

Again insulting me for no reason... what would be wrong with recognising a superb achievement in being the first club to reach ten titles...

You don't have to agree with me bud but don't naturally assume I'm a glory hunter you know nothing about me, if you did you wouldnt say that! I wouldnt naturally assume anything about you or anyone for expressing an opinion! Particularly when it glorifies our team and what they've achieved!
But we haven't won 10 titles. We've won 17.

And, if someone said something like that to me, I wouldn't care because I know it isn't true. Take it on the chin.
what the hell 10 titles ? and what about the other 7 ? there just gna be pushed aside cos we won them under a different name ?

You're missing the point, completely, again. We aren't the first team to reach 10 titles. The top tier has been called many different things, the Cannon League, Carling etc, should teams just distinguish titles by who the different sponsorships? Next you'll be looking for two stars instead of three to mark our CL triumphs.

If you don't want to be insulted, don't come up with stupid ideas and back them up with arguments that even more ridiculous, and all for what? Bragging rights over the vermin? Pathetic. If we were to put a star on our jersey for 10 Premier League titles, what is to stop them putting one on their jersey for 10 1st Division titles? Maybe Sunderland, Reading and WBA could put a star on their jersey for winning the Championship, after all, United have never won that.

Just let it go mate. You're making yourself look foolish.

OK OK OK despite the fact that we have won 17 top flight titles in all we have won 10 premierleague titles.. considering Liverpool have 18 titles to their name yet don't have a star on their shirt this obviously signifies the old 'first division' didn't award a star to a team when they clocked up 10 league trophies...

I'm asking should the modern day top flight consider this ... it is an amazing feat to be the first to win ten premiership titles as one of the guys said earlier maybe a Prem trophy on the shirt as opposed to a star .. I just think we've earned it.. maybe I'm wrong?

Ok screw the whole idea, but give Giggsy a strar!
The point we are trying to make Eoin is that the Premier League = 1st Division ergo the top tier of league football.

It doesn't matter what it's called. It doesn't matter what the trophy is. It's being able to call your team the best in the land it plays in.

We're not the first to get to 10 - I'd imagine Liverpool are, so if we were to put a star on our shirt we would rightly be ridiculed.

By the way, is it true that we will have 3 stars on the Euro kit?

I've heard it will be a silver badge with 3 stars above it.

The source I'm getting it off is rather mixed. Hit and miss really.

I understand, forget the whole thing!

Does that mean we'll have a different shirt for the CL?

I'd have no problem with all our shirts having 3 stars to signify our European success. Celtic have one on theirs, and I believe Liverpool have or had 4/5 on theirs.

That would be fair enough in my book.

No.

If we only class "modern day" as life, then why the hell did we celebreate and mourn the lives of those lost 50 years ago at Munich?

Why are you twisting everything I say?
Of course not, I went to the City game, and it was brilliant what was done!
You are obviously of the opinion that this is not a good idea celebrating being the first team to have their name 10 times on the 'Premiership Trophy'...

No, it's a crap idea.

Because the Premiership is the exact same as the old first division.

The Prem is now called PREMIER LEAGUE, instead of PREMIERSHIP, does this class as anew competition?

If your not gonna class anything before 93 as success; then why bother doing anything about Munich, 68, etc.
Best we leave it here lads......before you respond Eoin.....
