Stars begin filtering back

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that United's injury list is finally shortening, with
Owen Hargreaves set to face Middlesbrough and Michael Carrick and Louis Saha
in contention for next weekend's trip to Arsenal.

The United manager also announced that club captain Gary Neville is ready to
make his long-awaited comeback, as soon as he has posted some much-needed
playing time for the Reserves.

There is no news as yet on Paul Scholes, who will be sent for a second scan on
his knee on Monday. The midfielder suffered the injury when he turned in training
before the Reds' midweek win over Dynamo Kyiv.

Should Scholes face a spell on the sidelines, the return of Hargreaves from a
persistent knee injury and Carrick from a broken elbow will be highly welcomed.

Hargreaves has been out of action since the Reds' victory against Sunderland on
September 1, but is now ready to return - although Sir Alex warned that he will
not play a full match against Boro.

Patrice Evra, who tweaked a calf muscle in the Ukraine, could also be available for
the Teessiders' visit.

More news from Carrington to follow...

Bit of a suprise to see Owen back, big plus. I hope Paddy (haha) makes it, just gives us so mch more going forward. what do you think will be the starting line up??
i say
VDS,Brown,Rio,Vida,O'shea,Ron,Anderson,Fletch,Giggsy,Wazza,Tev
hargreaves and evra are bot fit. so why would you chose o'shea and fletcher over those two world class players???

No Fletch and no O'Shea................Hargreaves and Evra :p
Until Evra is fully fit, I wouldn't start him against Boro. I'd rather have him 100% for the Arse rather than against Boro. And it is Boro, I'm not entirely sure we'll need him for it anyway.
Hargreaves and Anderson will make an awsome CM pairing imo.

Your not wrong there. We could play Dong and beat Boro xD
Good news, hopefully we can stop conseeding (sp) the odd goal in a game now, with hargo and carrick back soon, clean sheets are so much better lol :)
If he is fit and i think he will be then he need game time before the big one.

Great news to have all these guys coming back especially Hargreaves. He will be pivotal in stopping the Arse. Its going to be tough for Fergie to pick a team when everyone is back from injury. What a lovely problem :)

I agree with that.

It'll allow Anderson to get forward more and he's already started to show hs excellent range of passing and the ability to get into goal scoring positions.

I have to say though, I'm more interested in seeing how a Hargreaves & Carrick partnership would work.
