We are the only team in the UCL to have won all the games so far.

Just thought i'd point out that little gem.

Definately think we should go for 3 points next game to obtain 1st place for sure and definately have an easier match in the last 16.

I'm delighted with how we played tonight, loved watching the younger players shine.

I've got a very good feeling about Europe this season and generally everything else. We look fantastic. So many special talents and yet so much depth. Fletcher didn't even get into the squad for Arsenal but bossed the midfield tonight. That speaks very highly for our squad at the moment!

But they don't really take a lot of bossing !

They are a poor team......

Maybe level with Derby and Birmingham.......

So he should be more than able to do this !!

Against the Arse or Pool or Chelsea he will look 2nd rate though !

He looks good for Scotland because they too are not too good.

Not being nasty but in my opinion Scotland have done so well in Euro 2008
qualifiers purely based on fierce pride for their nation and support which is
second to none !!

But they have flaws and soon Italy will highlight these - I hope I'm wrong.

But the basic gist of it is, Fletcher is a very competent player. Like he did show against the big teams and countries in the last 12 months.

It's a random draw of group winners v group runners-up once we reach the knock out stages but we can not meet any team from England until the quarter-finals.

I hope we put a strong(ish) team out against Sporting. If we win and Roma beat Kiev then 1st and 2nd place is already decided before the game in Rome so it will be a good opportunity to play the youngsters and rest key players before the trip to Anfield.

Fletch is a great squad player. Always does the job when asked to. Maybe not the most gifted but Im happy he is in the squad. With a fully fit team though he wouldnt get a sniff.

Bit harsh on Birmingham there Carly. i think they could beat Kiev.
and pretty harsh on Scotland as well. they are one game away from making it out of the group of death. Solsk will go mad at you for saying that

Are you slightly deluded....our passing was scrappy at times under little prssure and we created few clear cut chances in a game which we dominated against poor opposition...


Fletcher bossed the midfield...You could have picked any centre midfielder in the premiership to do what Fletch did last night and most championship midfielders...

Kiev are probably the poorest team in the CL and were a disgrace last night...

We got the three points and four goals.....but our performance was laboured and far from the exciting, atttacking football which is associated with United...

I think it is best to move on from last nights game...and forget about the performace......quickly...

Yes....however I was tempted to fall asleep during parts...

Some of Ronaldos play I could only cringe watching it and the pace of the game was, dare I say it, something resembling a Liverpool league match....

Our passing...like I said...was sloppy at times..under little or no pressure...

Kiev did come to defend but you expect a United team to open them up and punish them....

The game was a joke.....we should not be gloating about our 4 nil win...

We should be thinking about the semi final second leg against AC Milan last season...

It's time to get real if we want to win this trophy....so imho it's time to forget about last nights match...completely..

You can't play the football your on about against a team that only wants to defend nobody can it's impossible, i was well pleased with 4-0 against a team that had made no attempt5 to do anything other than defend.
