Sunderland are set to land a Manchester United player.

The Evening Chronicle says the player in question is believed to be at Manchester United and any potential move to the Stadium of Light is believed to hinge on whether Carlos Tevez's controversial move from West Ham to Old Trafford happens.

Sunderland boss Roy Keane said: "We have agreed a fee with the club for the player.

"It is complicated and I cannot go into it too much right now.

"However, we are hoping things will drop into place next week and we will be able to push it through."

The story is from 3 days ago so it was probably Smith - he was being linked with Newcastle, Boro and Sunderland. Someone must have spotted him in the North East!

Reports today are that Keano has diverted his attention to Mido after his proposed move to Birmingham fell through.

John O'Shea can play ANYWHERE. He could play where Ronaldo is and still impress, he nutzed Figo ffs! Did you know John O'Shea never missed a shot last season? and scored 4/5's of all his shots? John O'Shearer more like tbh.
