looks like every thing is going the bindippers way at the minute , they got totally out played second half culminating in reina saving them with his right shin in injury time totally gutted , the more i want them to lose the more they win .
i must lose this hatred i end up cursing even when united are not playing
I feel the same way but you have to expect them to at least get through their
group. We can then laugh as we or someone else gives them a pasting in Europe.
Gerrard's goal was class to be fair but Marseille killed them in the second half
and as per usual the Pile held on
Didnt you hear? Its their year :D

In the same group Athletico looked very good. That Aguero is some player indeed.
Apparently he is to marry Maradona's daughter. What a football dynasty that family will have.

its their year x 18 jazz lol
i am just praying their barren run lasts longer than 26 years , so they know what we had to go through ,
the trouble is i know too many of their plastic fans who never stop going on , i have fleeced them for hundreds of pounds over the last 18 years , just hope it continues

Just been watching the highlights from tonights games and couldn't help laughing because Beauchamp got sent off for Aalborg at Celtic Park for a professional foul on Samaras. It wasn't even him, the foul was actually committed by Michael Jakobsen.
:D

How on earth can all the officials supposedly watching the game not even notice that. :D

Anyone see Ibrahimovich's assist for Adriano's goal last night?
Giving the defenders the eyes and then caressing it through with the outside of his boot.
It was beautiful, an art.

Anyone has seen Del Piero's free kick against Zenith ??
Giving the wall side of the goal an eye and then shoting the ball to the other side with the outside of his boot.
It was more than beautiful, more than an art........ ;)

Unfortunately, I have to.

Ibra is the most hated player ever for Juventus supporters:
he was our idol when the scandal went off, and what did he do ??....... Not only he went away from us (who gave him celebrity and definitive consacration on high football) but he went to ..... inter !!!....... those who accused us to steal ....

How could he do that ??
you know that Ibra is the only reason for what Inter has won something during last years, don't you ?? .... Despite that, Inter supporters, and also management, they're saying:" after the scandal we win and not you"....... (ignoring all referees' helps they got in the league, moreover)

Great player, s**t of man

Away day misery for Bhoys as Arsenal and United pick up wins

Celtic's UEFA Champions League hopes are hanging in the balance after a defeat in Spain as Arsenal and Manchester United both enjoyed convincing victories.

BATE Borisov, the minnows from Belarus, held Italian giants Juventus as Real Madrid overcame Uefa Cup holders Zenit St Petersburg in Russia.

Bayern Munich and Fiorentina were both held at home in Group F, while Fenerbahce secured their first point of the group phase in Group G.

Celtic are facing a tough task to advance to the last 16 after slipping to a 1-0 defeat away to Villarreal.

Skipper Marcos Senna struck the only goal of the game midway through the second half when he curled a free-kick over the wall and inside the post to continue Celtic's woeful away record in the Champions League.

Dimitar Berbatov struck his first goals for Manchester United as the Champions League holders won 3-0 at AaB Aalborg.

In an open game in Denmark, United took the lead midway through the first half when Wayne Rooney swept home from Ryan Giggs' incisive pass.

United wasted several chances before extending their advantage on 55 minutes when Dimitar Berbatov pounced on a defensive mistake to volley home his first goal for the club.

And, just like buses, another one for Berbatov came along on 79 minutes when the Bulgarian acrobatically volleyed Cristiano Ronaldo's cross past Aalborg keeper Karim Zaza.

Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor both scored twice as Arsenal ultimately cruised to a 4-0 victory over 2004 winners Porto at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal were given a few early scares by Porto before making the breakthrough on 31 minutes thanks to Van Persie's near-post finish.

Adebayor headed home a second goal on 40 minutes and, three minutes after half-time, Van Persie weighed in with his second of the game.

Togo striker Adebayor emulated Van Persie's brace on 71 minutes by converting from the penalty spot after Nicklas Bendtner had been brought down.

Dynamo Kiev made it two draws in a row after a 0-0 stalemate against Fenerbahce following a terrible game in Turkey.

Real Madrid are firmly in control of Group H after surviving heavy second-half pressure to win 2-1 at Zenit St Petersburg.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's 55th Champions League goal after 31 minutes secured back-to-back victories in the group for Real.

The Spanish champions had gone in front through Tomas Hubocan's early own goal, before big-money signing Danny briefly drew Zenit level.

Juventus are second in the group after battling back to snatch a 2-2 draw against BATE Borisov in Belarus.

BATE, in their first home match in the Champions League group phase, enjoyed a dream start by scoring twice inside the opening 23 minutes through Sergei Krivets and Igor Stasevich.

But Juve were level by half-time as Vincenzo Iaquinta pulled one back on 29 minutes before the striker equalised just before the break.

Bayern Munich are top of Group F after coming from behind to draw 1-1 at home with the dominant force in French football Lyon.

Lyon forged ahead at the Allianz Arena on 26 minutes when Juninho Pernambucano's free-kick flew into the net with the help of Martin Demichelis.

Bayern had lost their last two Bundesliga games, but rallied to draw level on 52 minutes after Ze Roberto headed home Miroslav Klose's cross.

Fiorentina missed out on the chance to post a first group win after drawing 0-0 at home to 1986 European Cup winners Steaua Bucharest.
