Once you go down...its hard as hell to get back up. Then if they're lucky enough to be promoted...they're the whipping boys for all the bigger teams out there and they go back down.

The Championship is so boring. :(
 how can you say that? You obviously dont watch it then.
There are some very good teams in the Championship who have
a great history. There is some decent players, big burly defenders,
nippy forwards etc... Its great to watch, especially the season before
last when Sunderland went from the bottom to the very top. It was
amazing to watch. Some quality games and great action.

Dont knock it till you've tried it ;)

I hope the likes of Saints and Brum do well this season.

I caught a few games of it and the quality of football was exceptionally poor. Perhaps I just got unlucky?

You did get unlucky....Granted its not the same standard as the Premiership
(obviously) but its still good to watch. Real football lovers would watch ANY match imo.

I usually end up supporting a team who had our players or atleast one of our more talented players.

Sunderland 2 years ago (evans, Simpson, Keane)
Hull last season (Campbell)

So I'll probably root for Plymouth this season as they've got Cathcart.

The best thing about the Championship is that anyone can beat anyone else and there's always changes every week at the top and bottom. There have been 3 goals in the first 6 minutes in the Sheffield Wednesday - Burnley match and this kind of thing is fairly common in this league.

I would hate to be a fan of a team in that league, think of the emotions you mst go through...

I'm in the States so I do watch EVERY match that's on. Nothing could ever compare to the first game the Greeks played (against Sweden?) at the Euros though, that was near torture, I'm still amazed I made it through that. I will be honest though, the atmosphere at the games was absolutely great, especially the Sheffield derby.

The Championship is a great league.

Its the most open in Britain. Anyone can beat anyone, and theirs usually some good skill. I usually watch the games when their on. Theres also some great young managers and players, and the fans are top notch.

I'm hoping Cardiff win the league because I've got a multiple bet on for the Championship, League One and League Two, and if I get the three up, I'll be loaded! :p
