Am I insane? I need to see more of United's football NOW!!!
I know Euro 2008 will give me plenty of good football this summer,
but when my country fails to qualify (Ireland) it can take you a while to get over that.

so......I've already started to itch for next season to begin.
I can't bloody wait The Premiership is just the most engrossing
watch ever and like a United junkie, I need my fix right?

Anyway bring on the 2008/2009 season. United to make it 3 in a row!!!!
I'ts always more exciting going into a new season as Premiership Champions
AND European Champions!!
C'MON UNITED!!!!!

never thought i'd be wishing away a euro championships so the community shield would come quicker haha!

lol i know what you mean mate, it's the same for me as the english aren't there either, i think spain have a good chance at the euros and im looking forward to seeing our transfer targets, the likes of Huntelaar Veloso Moutinho and Arshavin i think they'll be a joy to watch and i also bet there will be a surprise name out of nowhere which we are linked with, this is very exciting time to be a man utd fan, i just cannot wait for fergie to get his cheque book out, and of course seeing them play ... who do you expect to join us jazz man ?

To be honest, i am really looking forward to euro 2008. I think there will be tons of talent out there and i enjoy watchin good footballers play.

As for next season, yes i already cannot wait!! Wouldn't mind some transfer activity...not useless activity but some because i don't know, why but it always brings a sense of excitement!

As for next season, i gotta feeling either rooney or tevez, one will have an awesome season!

Ronaldo if he is still here (lol...i think he will be, who wouldnt wanna play in the world club championships,lol)....will have another great season but if we buy a centreal striker...like an out n out striker, not sure he will score as many goals as he has this season. Nonethe less looking forward to seeing what he can get even better at next season...scary thought.

Anderson n Nani...will they have major impacts?!?....

Hargo = im a big fan,lol.

carrick...will he become a senior player next season?

rio vidic evra brown......can they repeat the success of last year...

what of giggs scholes neville...

any breakthrough players?....will some young players shine in the carling cup?lol...

how will the new players effect united...positive/negative?

... who do you expect to join us jazz man ?

Well I'm expecting 1 -3 players......It's so hard to know who it will be
with the amount of transfer speculation flying around

I'm just going to wait and see what happens and then discuss it.
The transfer merry-go-round really irritates me but fascinates me at the same
time.
We have threads on transfer talk and this isn't one of them
This is just the 'I cant wait for next season' thread
and I still cant wait for it lol
At least a few of you lot are seeing where I'm coming from.

Actualy I'm glad the season is over.


Gives me a couple of months to regrow my finger (and toe) nails,
replace all the pulled our hair, restore my vocal chords, recover
from numerous heart attacks and get a fresh supply of tablets
for my nerves.






Oh sod all that.........

lol Sal, great post. I was agreeing with you all the way through it
Games like the Barca, City and Wigan games as well as the CL final
really take everything out of you mentally. The lads sure put us through
THE most amazing ringer of a season lol.
It's not good for the old heart I tell you, actually come to think of it,
I think I'm still in shock......I'm not afraid to admit that I cried after the
final.....Dont think it has sunk in yet....
I'll be enjoying this summer more than most.......
but as i said before 'I cant WAIT for next season to start'

1. I agree, there is SO many things that i am looking forward to.

2. The Carling Cup, now that we have such a big squad i think we can go far this year, and it will be interesting to see the likes of Wellbeck, Fabio and Manucho etc.

3. The FA cup - for some strange reason, missing out on it this season, particularly in manner in which we were knocked out just hurts so much! Especially since if we had won we would have faced West Brom and Cardif - We could have played the players that missed the CL in this match and still won!

4. Manucho - I don't know what it is, but i really think we could have a gem here, he is something totally different and it will be interesting for me to see.

5. Tevez and Anderson at 100% - these guys will be god I am getting excited just typing this!

6. The new striker - Its been building for a year now, who will it be, and what he impact will he have?

7. The Super Cup - Its been a while since we were in 1!

8. World club championships - I know this maybe isn't on the level of say the Premiership, but just imagine, we can call ourselves the champions of England, Europe and the world! plus I would like it for Tevez if we played Boca Jrns.


9. The champions league - we can go down in history, now lets go and win it again! I forgot just how winning this makes me feel, and I want it again!


10. Garry Neville - The captain is back! Can't wait.

11. The return/arrival of a few players: Johnny Evans, Fabio, Rafael - I want to see how these play.

12. Payback! Lets City and show them that we are the rue kings of Manchester!

13. The matches vs Chelsea, get ready John Terry, this is gonna be fun!

14. 18

lets shut the scousers up and finally become the most successful team in English football history!

Yes, me neither, but I can wait for Manchester United to buy more talent, I hope Manucho gets his working permit (Vela from Arsenal already has DAMN!) also I think we do need to dip into the transfer market getting Hunter, Fabiano, Daniel Alves and many other great stars!
