i didn't know for a fact SAL i knew curzon were left with 500 tickets and FC utd took the rest with the ground holding 5.ooo i thought they had brought 4.500 as it was a sell out (my son plays for the youth team there and just going of what i was told by officials) so keep your knickers onSALFORD RED said:Two people talking rubbish on a thread doesn't make for a good forum, so i'll try to put a bit of sense into it to help out.
Been involved in non-league for many years. There is hundreds of great little clubs and supporters up and down the country in places most people have never even heard of.
www.npltv.tv show different games each week not just FCUM.
FCUM have their own live webcast and radio every game www.fcumtv./ all run by volunteers.
If anyone want links to any club/website/info site or anything just send me a PM and i will give it you.
Johnthe red....http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/ gives you your answers on everything. Manchester United at home the same time as FCUM hardly makes any difference at all to FCUMs gates. If you or anyone again needs links etc, just ask.
andycole9......Complete rubbish. FCUM have NEVER taken 4,500 fans to ANY away game. Average gate at home ? About 2,200 - 2,500. Average away following ? About 1,000 - 1,500.
dont know which game you are talking about but i suspect you mean when they played Curzon in the cup final at the end of last season. In which case the final tickets were on open sale to anyone, FCUM fans, Curzon fans, and anyone else intested, so FCUM fans never LEFT 500 tickets for Curzon fans. Fact, the crowd for that game ( off the top of my head ) was about 4,250, so your math does not add up correctly
Yes i did go, yes i have been to see FCUM dozens of times since the were formed by United supporters, some for 20, 30, 40, 50, years, disillusioned in what Manchester United had become and priced out of attending. With day tripping glory hunting prawn sandwich eating tourists, paying over the top inflated prices for tickets, filling OT.
Now for less than £10 dads and sons* can go to a game, go wherever they want in the ground, stand ( yes stand ) and sing ( yes sing ) for 90+ minutes with thier mates and have a great day out.
* or any other combination.
good, good, i was just letting people know what fantastic support FCUM had i wasn;t slagging them off and never had i know loads of people who've been to FCUM matchesSALFORD RED said:Knickers kept on mate. FCUM didn't take the rest, they were on open sale to anyone, total tickets on sale was 4,500, was not a sell out. Just putting a few things straight.
This comes from a member/owner of the club. .......Me !!!
