I'm sure you have all missed it but the Premiership is back this weekend

Saturday, 4 April 2009

Blackburn v Tottenham, 12:45

Arsenal v Man City, 15:00
Bolton v Middlesbrough, 15:00
Hull v Portsmouth, 15:00
Newcastle v Chelsea, 15:00
West Brom v Stoke, 15:00
West Ham v Sunderland, 15:00

Fulham v Liverpool, 17:30

Should be interesting at St.James Park with Shearer in charge. Chelsea are his first game. Ouch! Lets hope the Toon can get stuck into them and win/draw.

Fulham have been solid at home this season. Can they follow up a victory against us with another against Liverpool? Fulham have been excellent at home this season. Cmon the stalemate :D

Few good games at the bottom of the table:
West Brom vs Stoke
Bolton vs Boro

They are must wins for WBA and Boro.

Arsenal vs City should be a great game also.

It's back!

Blackburn 2-1 Spurs
McCarthy. Oojier - Keane pen.
Great result for Blackburn. Lifts them a little bit away from the bottom 3.

Newcastle are definitely going down as are WBA and Boro. Useless the lot of 'em.
A lot of teams above the top 3 did well so it pushes them further behind.

Full Times:
Arsenal 2-0 Man City
Bolton 4-1 Middlesbrough
Hull City 0-0 Portsmouth
Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea
West Brom 0-2 Stoke
West Ham 2-0 Sunderland

and now for Fulham vs Pool
Do I even want to watch this?

Adebayor, fabregas and Walcott all back for Arse.

Fulham better be up for the Liverpool match, they've reached the 40 points mark and are now safe..
Just watching it now, Lucas, Dossena and Insua all starting for the scum:confused:
I can see this one being a draw..!:)
Mascherano only got back from Bolivia yesterday where they lost 6-1 lol so Lucas takes his place.
Insua is a decent enough player though.
They said that Schwarzer came back from Sydney yesterday  and Dempsey from Nashville.

i couldn't give a monkey's right nut how they get on at fulham today.....if we do our job we'll there won't be a problem
yeah you could give a monkeys right nut. If they draw its massive for us. same points and 2 games in hand. No bother. If they win it puts the pressure on us.

there is no chance of them winning the title no matter if they score another 4 today... just aint gonna happen.no way
I hear ya Ant and I agree, but it would still be nice to get some breathing space again, wrap up title 18 so we can rest players for the CL etc...

fair point thats the only reason....but honestly they have the third best squad in the premier league and at some point in the next few weeks will blow it again big time.

any team who's team picture looks like a line up photo filled with sex offenders and the criminally ugly should never be allowed to win anything. steven gerrard is considered a 'looker' compared to the rest of the inbreds on show over there.

they will soon be stopped in their tracks...as they always are :)

Is Clint Dempsey playing? I would suspect not, but if he is, I hope he grabs one.

And no folks, I'm not watching Liverpool, they always win when I do.
He is and they said he only got back from Nashville last night.
20 minutes left. Cmon the Fulham! Can it be done?

1528: GOAL Everton 1-0 Wigan
Everton break the deadlock. Marouane Fellaini lays off to the advancing Leon Osman who feeds an immediate, incisive ball to Jo and the Brazilian doesn't waste the chance to fire a low drive past Chris Kirkland and into the far, bottom corner.
kick off was at 3pm.
