Jayus canto could ya have made that look any worse?

Anyway Noel King picked that squad so don't read too much into it.

The thing I'm most pleased about with O'Neill and Keane is the fact they'll watch and scout players, Roy has genuine interest in Irish football and players, values the Irish league and loves Ireland there's no way he'll let any player that's good enough slip through the net.

The copy and paste didn't work out too well and I'm too fat and lazy to change it :p

Jesus Christ. Stephen fucking Ward is back on the scene.

Pretty much the team I expected. O'Neill loves pacy and direct wide players.

Good result tonight, even though we should have scored another couple of goals.

Lets be honest here, Latvia were complete and utter shite, but it was still good for the new management to get off to a winning start. Poland will be a lot tougher opposition next week.

I was very surprised to see Martin O'Neill in the post-match interview, ask was it that important that we will be 2nd seeds for the Euro qualifiers, after Romania losing to Greece. I think it's a very big deal and hugely important for us in the future.

Latvia is a great football nation. Verpakovskis is one of the best strikers over 30.

He can play at either and will most likely play at left back for us at least.

Grealish is England bound, I think. Hopefully not.
Just on grealish again he posted an interview with himself on twitter from one of the papers talking about how he thinks he made the right choice playing for us and thinks he and alot of the other young lads in the under 21s can hope of a call up to the senior squad with Martin o'Neill in the future as when he was a young lad at Villa he remembers Martin giving a lot of young players there chances there.

Seems like he's going to stick with us, thank God
