aston villa for the front stages. sunderland for their recent wins. :)
It has to be Pompey.

Harry Redknapp has done an incredible job there. A few seasons ago a 'good season' for them was avoiding relegation to the 3rd tier of English football. Now they look set for a top 6 finish and winning the FA Cup.

Fratton Park is a fortress - they drew all 5 games against the teams above them in the league there. They play some good football and have made some good signings, especially Defoe. I expect them to do well again next season.
aston villa and portsmouth. both teams challenging for europe, and the latter has a great chance of getting there. brilliant season so far.
i have been impressive with Everton
i have been very impressed with everton and WHU.....everton because they challenged pool well for the fourth place although they are virtually out of it now.....WHU because they have improved very well from last years horrible perfomance....they have certainly improved....
Aston Villa and Everton were impressive i believe.

 back at you.
Hull and Bristol City are the 2 teams in the entire football league that have
REALLY impressed and made gigantic strides this season.
City just came up from League 1 and have a shot at making the Prem.
Those 2 teams are in the top 3/4 in the Championship.
Fair play to them both.....
I have to admit that the team that has impressed me most this season has also been the team that has underachieved the most.

I'm talking about Spurs of course. Not for their league position, but because of their amazing games against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Sure they concede a lot of goals, but they have also scored a lot and their ability to score goals have made for some exciting games.

I'm sure Ramos will make the a top 6 team again next season, but I hope he doesn't do it at the expense of their swashbuckling ways.

For their league position and reaching the FA Cup final, I would also have to mention Portsmouth. Harry Redknapp even went to jail for this team, so he deserves his success : )

Exactly what Jazz said.

Did the thread starter say Premiership?

Is this forum oblivious to the fact that there is life outside of United and the high league's?

Lower league football is actually very underated.
sunderland...i honestly expected us to continue our yo-yo form
ive been impressed with derby . it cant be easy to be as poor as that . they must practice letting comedy goals in on the training field . roy carroll was so hurt by the criticism about the spurs goal that was a foot and half over line that he makes sure they all hit the net now to stop any confusion . and paul the bonnet banger jewell sets new lows in managerial motivation . on a crest of a slump as the doc once said .
Everton, and I hate to say it, but Man City!

Everton really pushed 'pile for fourth and I thought they'd actally get it at one
stage.

As for City, I thought they'd be relegated after last years dismal display. Sven's
doe well, TBH, and they hung around the top for an incredibly long time. I
thought they were gonners after last year.
