Obviously today was a public training session, and was shown on MUTV, but did anyone else realise that when they did the training match Paul Scholes' team dominated for 2/3 of it?

I know this maybe a bit of a pointless thread but all of our players have always said that the team with Scholes in it usually wins, and it looked like they were right. I only watched about half the program (will watch the rest 2moro) but from what I saw he trains exactly like he plays and he pretty much had complete control over the whole match. He scored atleast 2 goals aswell (like I said I only watched half).

Its not like he had the best team either. From whatI can remember he had Rio, Vidic, VDS, Giggs, Rodrigo and Fabio on his team while Rooney, Evra, Nani, Pig, Fletcher were on the other team so its not like he had by far the better team. He partnered Rodrigo at CM aswell so that will be help Rodrigo learn how to control the tempo of a match.

I also noticed that, like in the Pompey match, Nani looks a lot quicker than he used to. He actually seemed to play like Ronaldo does, kicking the ball infront and running after the ball instead of holding onto the ball while standing still.

Evra also looked very good as did Fabio. Tevez looked very poor, maybe he's one of those players who has to give 100% to play well.

I'm not really sure what the point in this thread is but I just thought I'd share what I saw/thought I saw in todays training session.

Scholsey doesn't understand the difference between league and training....give him a ball and a football pitch and he'll work wonders.

Typical of the chap....must see of I can find this video...lol
Didn't you say you were getting MUTV? If so it will probably be replayed over the next week so you could watch it then.

Another point I forgot was just how similar Rafael, Fabio, Rodrigo and Hargreaves all look with there hair lol.

A few random/pointless points:

- Paul Scholes and Fergie were looking at Rodrigo and talking together for a good 10 minutes together. Weather they were talking about Rodrigo I don't know but its worth saying.

- Rafael and Fabio are always together when doing the laps, though I guess you can understand that.

- When they did little games such as 'keepy uppy' games in 3's Rafael and Fabio were always partnered with Giggs.

- Fergie had a good laugh with one of the Da Silva's quite a few times.

- Nani got frustrated with his teammates a few times.

- When doing laps the only people who were joking together were Wes Brown with Rooney, and Giggs with Neville.

- Neville didn't take part in the training match, he did jogging and stretching with a few other players.

- I don't think PIG made a single save in the training match - everything went in.

- All the coaches watched the match from different angles except for Fergie and Mike Phelan.

^^some interesting points there TM. Mike Phelan is the bald coach by the way.
I had heard that Scholes is ALWAYS the best player in training. He just loves to
play, and boy he can. Its great to se the younger ones getting the experience
and learning every day, playing with amazing players. Its important they get
integrated into the squad and that they stay happy.

Didnt even know this was on myself, but Im sure they will have plenty of re-runs I
can check out. nice one anyway.

Yeah I remembered straight away and edited it just before you posted lol.

Its replayed tommorow morning and probably more times after that. Andy Ritchie and Arthur Albiston are the two pundits who present it.

I think its worth watching just to see how they train. I never knew that the training matches would be so fast paced aswell. It made Premiership matches look like Serie A.

On youtube there's videos with Hargreaves, Rooney, Ronaldo and Rio who all say Scholes' team always wins.
