Does anyone else feel like we have won an Ultimate Treble? I know the Fa Cup is alot harder to win that the WCC,but,How many teams have been crowned Champs of the country,champs of their continent AND champions of the WORLD!?!?! Not many if any!!So if we wanna play the scousers game of racking up trophy counts and making up thier own little leauges/cups whatever then we can now say we have won a treble twice in a decade.....let them get out of that one

now we have won it it is a mighty trophy worthy of respect

There are a few different stories floating around about how we got that name, but the most common one is in reference to the "false promises" brought forth by area politicians during the early 19th Century (something continues today). Along the lines of "the pols are so full of hot air it makes the city even more windy".

I'm quite partial to the name "The Second City" (in reference to the fact the most of the original city was burned down in 1871 and a second city was built) but Windy City seems to be more wildly known.

NYC actually has about double the number of skyscrapers (inhabitable building more than 500 meters in height) than we do (120 vs 68), but Chicago had the first and still have the country's tallest (Sears Tower)...

Yes but it was impossible to win this last season BUT the Champs League title is what got us here so for me it can be included with last years haul.

I say we should have the squad photo retaken would look pretty wicked wouldnt it !!
