City ain't in United's Klaas
KLAAS-JAN HUNTELAAR has revealed he rejected a £32million move to Manchester City — because it was the wrong Manchester club.
The Dutch striker will join Real Madrid from Ajax for £17m on January 2.
But Huntelaar was one of City's major targets in the summer and they even tabled a deadline-day bid.
Huntelaar — nicknamed The Hunter — admitted: “There was enough interest in the summer but these weren't the clubs we had thought about.
“Manchester City didn't meet the criteria we wanted. Manchester United? Maybe that would have been another story!â€
