After reading the paper in last view days i came across an article about United and the Trophys that they can win this season which is a possible 6 outa 7 at the moment with 2 already won n 1 lost.
This got me thinking on what team as the biggest trophy haul for one season n when they did it? i could only think of the 99 treble by United

any other ideas people??

Lets be realistic if we come out the season with two major trophys we should be over the moon .

For me though if we only come out of the season with just the league , world club cup and community shield we have had a good season .

If we win anymore its not only a bonus its brilliant.

Id love the champions league but we have to be serious we aint going to win it every year .

The more realistic trophy haul is a domestic treble which by the way has never been done so imagine doing that it would be brilliant.

i'll settle for a couple...the league always thought is going to be ours....champions league wise think we are best equipped team to retain it, but how many times has that been said before and the holders go crashing out.....think we have the best team possible to retain the CL but just something saying we wont....carling cup should be ours for the taking now for a start though... aint the biggest and best trophy , but lets not blow it now

It would be realy something, but i doubt it. Hope the team proves me wrong, but i would settle with the Champions League and the Premiership again but at the moment we have the biggest chance for the Carling Cupso hope it's gonna be the next one, but as well not the last one this season.

not one to sound rude ppl but the piont of my thread was to see if anyone knows what the current record for trophys won in 1 season was n if anybody knows who holds it and from when etc etc etc

u av all made good points though lol spesh like the one bout squad of trophys ha ha ha that would be great
