Txiki Begiristain is confident that Barcelona can eliminate Manchester United on Tuesday evening at Old Trafford and reach the Champions League final and he spelt out how the team should approach the match.
The Blaugrana technical secretary has the whole second leg planned out and outlined his beliefs on the best way for the Blaugrana to overcome the Red Devils on their own patch.

"I can see us reaching the final in Moscow because the capability of the team in the competition," he explained. "We are capable of earning a score draw or winning at Old Trafford. We have done very well in the Champions League up until now, so why can we not repeat that in Manchester?

"Frank Rijkaard and the players should go into the game with optimism and confidence and play in the same way that has led us to the semi finals of the tournament. I hope that we see the Barcelona of the Champions League and that we play with the same mentality as we did in the home leg."

Begiristain does not believe that Manchester United will go into the game in all-out attacking mode and believes that they will retain some of the conservative style that kept the first game goalless,

"It is a game where we will have to be intelligent because I do not think Manchester United will risk everything. They have not had success in Europe for some time and I think they will be prudent," he continued.

"We will have to defend well, control the bal and recover possession as quickly as possible in midfield, as well as looking to score. The whole team will have to work very hard. We have the potential to score in every game. Penalties would not be good as we would suffer a lot."
