We just don't get penalties anymore, what do the ref's have against us, it was a clear penalty in the F.A Cup semi final, why Mike Riley didn't give it i don't know. Does it have something to do with Ronaldo because he has a pretty 'bad' relationship with the ref's nowdays, are they deliberately doing it, even Rio Ferdinand said it.

we have to be true to ourselves. we have had 3 penalties - all at home, and only given 3 away.

and if you want to be complaining, chelsea have got 2 penalties. arsenal have got 3.

are we really not getting penalties? just meaning we are manchester united doesnt mean we have to always get penalties. of course - it doesnt help us when in previous seasons ronaldo had a history of cheating referees to earn a penalty.

sunday it could have been a penalty but it was not a stand out penalty by no means , i think that utd gets more than their quota of penalties awarded . also the ref only gets one view of the incident if he is lucky not the dozen different angles that we condemn him by and if anything the big clubs get most of the decisions and always will.

How could Ronaldo's so called "bad relationship" with the Refs contribute to us not being awarded a penalty..?! It's not a factor at all, Ronaldo wasn't on the pitch on Saturday when Wellbeck was brought down, so that's a ridiculous point you've come out with there..!

That's football, you get penalties, you don't get penalties..!
There is no reason for this, it's how football works and not something we should be worried about..

i mean, most of the time its ronaldo claiming for one. of course other united players do have a geniunie claim.. and sunday's incident was a outright penalty. i was effing pissed when that "manchester united fan" didnt give it to us. maybe he's an everton fan now.

Stupid logic.

We have far more 'ball carriers' in the team than they do, while Chelsea's style is smacking the ball either over the top for Anelka or smashing it to Drogba. Arsenal's is a 1 touch style, so there aren't many dribbles that take place. Arshavin is one of the few.

We have Ronaldo, Giggs, Anderson, Hargreaves (when fit), Welbeck, Rafael, Tevez ect - all of whom like to run with the ball.

Only one of our pens this season have been wrong calls - against Bolton. While we have had baltant penalties against Chelsea, Spurs and Everton all turned down. Probably more aswell.

Like season pathetic penalty calls nearly cost us our title. Remember the Middlesborough player handling the ball in the box after diving to 'save' the ball? We ended up drawing that game. Remember the 3 penalties we should have got vs Blackburn at Ewood Park in the game where Tevez equalised 2 minutes before the end? That cost us 2 points. How about the game at Stamford Bridge last season where Ronaldo got mauled by Ballack in the box only for the ref to turn a blind eye to it? That cost us a point and gave Chelsea 3. Hell remember at the Nou Camp where we should have had 3 penalties, but we only got 1? If we had gone out in those semis then a bigger deal would have been made out of them.

We definately do not get penalty decisions. OT but offside calls are even worse. Ronaldo has had 5 goals wrongly dissalowed. Rooney has had a few aswell.

it cud be the ronaldo thing that has refs turned off given penaltys, i dont know but if it was then its a disgrace, one player doesnt make a club, its the spuad the management, the fans, we all contribute, but the refs dont get all the slow motion replays that we get to see, he has only a few seconds to make his call and he shouldnt be ridaculed, thats what makes football great, who would want all this new technology to come in, slow the game down, video refs, this is football not rugby...

Amazing really, cos people used to always say how we always got penalties when we shouldn't and teams never got penalties against us.

Well, I think this season has dispproved that. Opposition sides have been given penalties against us (at Old Trafford, no less) and we've been denied penalties as well.

Just goes to show all these conspiracy theories are bollocks.

regarding ronaldo, its due to his reputation, and i had it when referee always goes against ronaldo. but also, i've felt that there were also a few decisions where we should have got a call against us, but instead, it was given to us. not exactly penalties, but also for freekicks.

referees are just human. no one can ever be perfect. but for mike riley, he's just an ass.
