Here is a piece of news that just caught my attention last night.

"United target India to secure world domination"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jul/25/manchesterunited.premierleague

Well I saw a piece in the local English dailies as well. There has to be some substance to this unlike the rumours in the past.

I am keeping my fingers crossed and pledge that I will be there come what may when it actually happens. United are the most popular football club in this side of the world, and it will be great to see the club benefitting from the huge support base they can build here.

Good to see the planning for the future...

...Don't know about you's but I'd like something like that tournament we had a
while back with Ajax and Port where Wazza was sent off.

That sort of a challenge would be good...

I think Feyernoord have a tournament where some good teams play.

The Amsterdam tournament is definately the best but Fergie has said we won't go there again.

The Emirates Cup is also good, Arsenal, Madrid, Juventus and Hamburg(I think) are in that, although we'll never enter that.

Its a shame we can't have an Old Trafford tournamant but I don't think our pitch could take it so early.

We've never been to India, so it will be interesting.

A tournament such as the Amsterdam tournament at Old Trafford would be fantastic, though the pitch may not like it.
