Juan Pablo Carizzo
Juan Pablo Carizzo, plays for River Plate in Argentina and I believe United have submitted a bid for $8 to $10m. I have heard United are in talks and that he is keen on joining United. Juan has been on awesome form of late.
Born 6 May 1984 in Villa Constitución is an Argentine footballer (goalkeeper), who plays for Club Atlético River Plate. He is currently the first-choice goalkeeper for the Buenos Aries club.
He has been with River Plate since he began his professional career, making his debut on the 29th of January 2006 against Tiro Federal. He kept a clean sheet in River's 5-0 win.
He made his International debut for Argentina against Chile, 18 April 2007.
Reports in the South American press have suggested a bid has been tabled by The Red Devils for the Argentina international.
Carrizo himself has added fuel to the fire by stating River would be foolish to snub a major bid from England, but Aguilar is refusing to countenance selling his number one.
"There haven't been any offers from an English club for Carrizo," Aguilar said during a business trip to London.
United have lost Ben Foster to injury and, although Tomasz Kuszczak has signed permanently from West Brom this week, Sir Alex Ferguson may be interested to note that Aguilar has left room for manoeuvre.
