Eurosport.com has counted out that Croatian international has been the best player of the festive season according to his ratings per match.
According to ratings by 5 english papers,The Sun, Mirror, Mail, Times and Guardian ,he 's been the best player of the festive period . Corluka's total number of grades is 36.9! What is more interesting is that Corluka has managed to score such a high number of grades while playing in midfield and he's a centre back whos' been placed on the right back for the season.( which makes him the city's Sheasy );)
Anyway - i'm proud of my compatriot ! Please don't kill me for stating this  .. i know he plays for city

He is a really good player and for him to get this 'award' thing is very good for someone playing out of position.

When ic seen this boy he's always done well. The only occasion he hasnt was when city lost 6-0 to chelsea, but i might be thinking of Garrido.

actually he was even then the best city player on the pitch according to newspapers... sven totally described him spot on - he said - When I watch him going up and down the line - I think to myself - is he fast or is he slow... well he can't be slow because he's always on time to deliver the cross or to defend ... but you can't say he's the quickest outhere - he always seems to give just enough to be on top of the opposition player.

No worries Croo. He is a very good player and has impressed greatly playing as the holding midfielder. He has a great touch for such a big man and has been one of City's top performers this season along with Dunne, Petrov and Elano. He picked up a bad injury in his last game did he? Hopefully he wont be out for too long. Im rooting for City or Everton to finish ahead of the Scousers this season.
