Now that Liverpool have secured the
last Champions League quarter final
spot it seems fair to say that with four
English clubs left in the competition
there is a decent chance it will be won
by a side from the Premier League.

But which team stands the best chance
of winning?

Once again Liverpool showed how they
can rise above erratic domestic form to
sweep aside top European opposition
with a comfortable win over Inter.

Arsenal too showed no fear by knocking
out holders Milan with that remarkable
win in the San Siro.

Chelsea did just enough against Olympiakos.

While United scraped through against Lyon
by the skin of their teeth - and came closest
of the four to going out.

On the basis of their recent performances in
Europe whoever they draw United will need
to raise their game for the next round - or
face watching another English club go for
glory instead.

Which English team stands the best chance of
winning the Champions League?

And why .......

Liverpool have the best chance...its the only trophy they are trying to win now, so benitez the ****** (who is a ***** prem manager but class european manager) will rest everyone for there games. However i believe united will win as they have more quality.

Accoring to the bookies it's United, Chelsea, Arsenal then Liverpool. Or at least it was until Liverpool got through yesterday so they now have shorter odds now.

I think a lot could depend on the draw but all four teams it seems to me are playing well enough in the CL. My gut feeling is either United or Liverpool will go the furthest.

But I think if we draw Liverpool, then I'm confident we could do a job on them

It definitely Chelsea or ourselves.
they have the best squads with lots of experienced players in them.
I also believe they are the 2 best teams in Europe.
Luck will play its part as we keep seeing with the Scousers.....
but to be fair its so hard to call. It could all come down to a referees mistake.
