Tell me which game is the greatest game we ever had? What do you think?

For me it's the 1999 FA Cup Semi-Final Replay against Arsenal. :D

Our performance in the 2005 FA Cup Final against Arsenal was one of the greatest performances I've ever seen a United team give. We lost on penalties but as my ould fella says, if football was decided on most chances created, Arsenal may aswell have gone home at half time. Ronaldo gave one of his best ever performances in a United shirt that day.

Juventus away in 1999 we fell 2-0 behind as you all know but then Roy Keane produced the greatest ever footballing display in my eyes .

It ended as we all know 3-2 to united !!

Makes my hair stand up still till this day

Was a amazing display but lets face facts we missed far to many chances for it to be our greatest display .

I was in the bishops blaze that day and was knackerd come the end of the shoot out I felt we were totally robbed !!

1. CL Final 1968

10 years after Munich
Our first European Cup
Being played at Wembely
Playing against a then great team in Benfica
and a great match, which can't be said for all finals.

2. CL Final 2008

3rd European Cup
50th anniversary of Munich
Beating one of our closest rivals
The John Terry slip
George Best's birthday
The fact that we won it on penalties

3. CL Final 1999

2nd European Cup
The way in which we won it
Secured the Treble
Sir Matt Busby's Birthday
Schmeichel's last game

4. FA Cup Final 1996

FA Cup win
Cemented a domestic double
Beating our closest rivals
The way in which we won it
Cantona's comeback cemented

5. FA Cup Final 1977

Winning a prestigeous trophy
Beating our most hated rivals
The fact that we won a trophy in the 'dark times'.

6. CL Juventus away 1999

2-0 down to come back and win - amazing.
Playing against a great team.
The fact that it was a semi final
Roy Keane's performance.

7. FA Cup Semi Final replay vs Arsenal 1999

Beating one of our most hated rivals
The fact that it was a Semi Final
The incredible match itself.
The Giggs goal

8. CL 1/4 Final 7-1 vs Roma 2007

The way in which we won
The amazing goals we scored
The fact that it announced to the rest of Europe: "We are back!"

9. Semi Final CL 2008 vs Barcelona

The fact that it was a Semi
The goal that was scored
The incredible atmosphere

10. Arsenal 2-4 Manutd 2004/2005

This match really ended the Manutd - Arsenal hatred period
The match itself.
Roy Keane owning Viera in the tunnel pre match

*We're still rivals, but the rivalry then was so intense, but I think that is when we ended, and won, the most heated part of the rivalry.

This is just my opinion though :)

Yeah, you've got to put the ball in the back of the net I know. But it was a victory for football nonetheless. United me proud that day.

Juventus '99 is a classic. Proabably my favourite game of all time tbh. Keano became a footballing legend that night.

Well done Manc you really did put the effort in here dude . Cant argue with any of your choices .
For me it was United v Sheff Weds 93 when brucie scored his two most famous goals for us . I really believed after that we would win the league for the first time in 26 years . Jesus that seems like an eternity ago .

99 Fa cup semi-final.

never in one game as so many highs and lows been experienced and then just as we are all praying to hang on for penalties, up pop ryan giggs for the goal he will be taking about to his grandkids.

its was pure football and one of the highlights on the road to the treble that season.

Anyone remember the pitch invasion afterwards, dont think we have had one since in a United game.

There have been games that I never saw Like the 68 cup final v benfica and there are games that Ive been too and lived through Like the 99 final and of course last year. But for me the best game I have ever been to is the 1984 cup winners cup second leg against Barcelona, I was 15 years old and Ive never witnessed an atmosphere like that, Robbo had Maradonna in his Pocket and we won 3-0. I helped carry Robbo off the pitch at the end. Unfortunatley poor quality pitch side mics never picked up the atmosphere of the night. The attendance said 66,000 but I saw hundreds sneaking in at my turnstile alone.

Umm, FA cup final v Liverpool not sure what year, but Cantona scored that volley that seemed to fly through everybody in the box - great. Or - for some reason not many people choosing this - The '99 game because of the way that Bayern were comfertable and we scored 2 in the dying minutes

I'll never forget the line

"AND SOLSKJAER'S DONE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
