i want to get barca
i think we have a better defence and a equal attack and it would be great for our confindance for the rest of the season if we beat them
go go barcasuperguy said:We may have a stronger defence than Barcelona but they are stronger in every other area. What strikers have we got, Rooney is a very poor finisher so playing him up front on his own is a bad idea. Louis Saha is always injured and even when he is fit he is not exactly a clinical finisher either. Tevez is not a striker he is an attacking midfielder as that is where he spends all of his time. So we have two strikers in the entire squad, one is always injured and the other has no idea how to put the ball in the net. Barca have Henry, Etoo, Gudjohnson and Bojan so I would hardly say our attacks are equal.
The PL Top record in a season was Andy Cole with 34 Goals, but that was when there were 42 games...or something along those lines.dckyfoxes said:Precisely...
Whoever it may be, the Reds will continue to Rampage...
At the rate C. Ronaldo is scoring,
Can he break the record of Man Utd?
Can he break the premier league top scorer?
Btw.. anyone know the record for the both of them?

The record for Manchester United is 46 goals in all competitions by Denis Law, during the 1963–64 season. While the record goals scored in a single Premiership season is 30 by Kevin Philips in 1999/00 season. If ue wan to include the pre-Premiership era, the record is 60 goals by legendary ex-Toffee Dixie Dean when it used to be 42 games per season as norm.dckyfoxes said:Precisely...

^Ditto! This is the true great positive attitude that any United fan oughta' possessed!versa said:I have no particular preference. Always believe that to be champions, we cannot afford to have the loser's mentality of who to avoid or who we prefer to meet later. We just have to be prepared to beat anybody and everybody that comes our path. Overcome, overrun and clobber is the best way forward.
Afterall, we are Manchester United, a team always/supposed to be feared and revered.
