If you said £200 million for a player then yes I would say its to much but £20 million is the going rate for top class .

Hmmm, that 800million Euro debt begs to differ. If Glazer was that rich, he wouldn't have had to borrow lots of money in order to acquire the necessary shares to have ownership in the club. That's why we have to put 50mil towards the debt every year.

Look at your sports teams in america they spend daft money on players but they make lots of money and its all ok .

Were not in a crisis, the fact of the matter is, and I'm sure you don't have the best grasp on math and economics is this:

Outstanding debt= X
Profit= Y

Since Y>X, you can afford to pay back a minimum payment on that debt, instead of paying the entire thing back at once. This enables you to buy whoever you'd like, however, the price of that player should be beneath that of your transfer budget, else you run the risk of having to sell a marquee guy, and/or having your interest rates go up.
