Just finished watching L'Pool - Arsenal Highlights & it's official... Bendtner is the biggest tool in Europe. He actually looked like he wanted to clear Fabregas' shot of the line and then realised what he'd done and thought "Oh Crap". I know most of you couldn't give a hoot about what goes on at Arsenal but this something that truly been bugging me for a while. Why on Earth is Bendtner rated so highly? Conversely why is the far, far superior Walcott rated so lowly? Walcott has been shunted onto the wing, given brief glimpses of game time and he still seems to shine whenever he comes on. Bendtner on the other hand is getting plenty of game time and still looks like he should be playing for Havant and Waterloo reserves! Seriously I know nobody will agree to this but if I could have one player from Arsenal I'd take Walcott in a heartbeat and wouldn't regret it. Does anybody else feel the same. It won't happen but I'd welcome Walcott at United any day.

Why is Bendtner still around? - maybe for his goalscoring record compared to minutes played - he's their solskjaer
Agree CRO, I have watched most of arse's games this year - because I despise everything about them. I am always a little nervous when bendtner comes on.
He is big, talented and knows how to score.

Walcott is still a young player developing his skills. He has frightening pace and manager's often like to use this on the wings - Thierry Henry started on the wing, Liverpool played Bellamy and Cisse on the wing, Dyer who prefers central midfield is usually played on the wing etc.

Walcott looked nervous when he came on last night. A Champions League quarter-final is a big occasion for a such a young lad. He has only recently managed to score in the Prem and needs to be slowly introduced into both the Arsenal and England set up because his potential is there for all to see.

bentander is good player
but about walcot wenger hate all english players
I don't think that wenger hates all english players.Arsenal is some kind of foreign legion, but wenger is doing a good job with young and talented players, many years ago.Bendtner is one of them,Theo also.Imho Bendtner is better and he has great potential.I heard a lot of bad thigs about Walcot. He has bad personality and he is very lazy on the training.Maybe this is one of wenger's reasons:rolleyes:

you cant compare walcott and bendter. they are different type of players. bendter is like their super sub. remember when they played tottenham last year dec? he came on and scored with his first touch. a header from a corner kick.

Walcott has done nothing at Arsenal to be fair.
I dont like Bendtner's attitude but if I had to pick between him
and Theo, Id pick Bendtner each time. For one so young he has great
skill, pace, touch, passing, finishing and heading ability.
Couple that with his strength and height make him a huge prospect
for the future. And Theo has done what exactly? other than skinning
1/2 Milan players that are old enough to be his dad.

bendtner is a good player actualy....their super sub....he has good finishing ability....but it was comical to see the "almost" goal thing.....classic expression on his face......but not the best thing you could do out of the bench...

..well - he did score a brace against birmingham and when he's introduced - the tempo of the game is raised.. he made great runs against bolton - set up a superb chance for RVP who missed it ( it was easier to score that one than to miss ) , and he had a few great runs against Liverpool too... as for that Milan part - Ronaldo didn't even manage to skin those old grandads so the lad deserves respect imo ;)

but all those postives (there arent that many) are from his entire Arsenal career.
Surely he should be doing a lot more than just that?
His 2 goals vs Brum were nice but I havent seen any more goals and its not
as if he hasnt got game time.
He is still young but he hasnt progressed the way people thought he would.

true,true...but he's slowly coming to it...i can see something potentially big in the lad... oh and - the goal against chelsea in the c.c. final was good too...let me put it this way - i'd love to have him in the team... we could find a place for him( Walcott that is ) ;)

yeah we could. we just lack players like him. physical. though he could do much more to improve his mobility. adebayor moves much more than him. thats the only thing that would make him a really good player. right now, he is still young, with all the potential. but well, for now, i do think he's doing good. i think the reason that walcott isnt getting his chance is cause his finishing isnt that good yet. walcott is only good at dribbling and that pace of his is an major asset. but, if you do notice at the games he plays, his finishing isnt that good yet.

It was a superb run by Walcott and literally made me jump out of my seat.

After he beat the first 2 men I could see the amount of space he had to run into. I leapt up and started shouting...

'He's going to take them all on! He is! He's beaten another! WHAT A RUN! WHAT A GOAL!"

I was with a couple of Liverpool supporters and you should have seen the look on their faces! Just a shame that they were leaping out of their seat and cheering a minute later
