I would have to say the worst game I ever attended was United vs AC Milan in 2003 .

The game had been built up ever since the draw and I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the match . It was poor United side that night not a team to take on the mighty AC Milan and they were poor during the game aswell .

90 minutes of pure Milan possesion and Seedorf put us out of misery .

I tried to take a positive out of the game on my way home but the only positive I could find is that I could say Id seen Milan play lol!!

What a crap night!!

My brother is a Preston fan and for my birthday a few years ago he took me to see Preston v Sheffield Wednesday at Deepdale. The game finished 0-0 and both teams were booed off. It really was a dreadful, boring game of football.

united played charlton on the last day of a season, about 2001ish.
i don't think there was much riding on it but i was 8 and my dad said what the hell, and we flew up from london.
we played terribly, drew 0-0, and i just remember my depression, sitting in the empty departure lounge :(

city last year was a horrible result, considering the occasion, but it still ranks up there in my top memories.

A pre-season friendly with Sevilla at OT in 2006 was pretty dire. Or Crystal Palace vs Southampton at Selhurst Park last year ...

The Southampton fans were singing Munich songs in the pub (it was on the weekend before the 50th anniversary).

I went to a Liverpool vs B'Burn game with my football team. It was 1-0 to Liverpool with a goal that was offside and in a stadium with absolutely no atmospher. It was bleedin brutal.

Jesus sounded a classic
It was, but it was just painful to watch.
One of our best teams, and basically the best game ever played by a quality player, João Pinto, pretty much beat us... He scored 3 goals, created one or 2 more, it was a nightmare. Worse part is, we lost the championship in that game, to them :(

But we had a sorta of revenge last year:
Cup semi-final, Sporting-Benfica, and at half time they were 2-0 ahead. An AMAZING 2nd half by Sporting got us to the final (which we ended up winning against porto) with a 5-3 win.

And to give you an idea of how wild it was, the last 6 goals were scored in the last 20 minutes of the game.
