united played charlton on the last day of a season, about 2001ish.
i don't think there was much riding on it but i was 8 and my dad said what the hell, and we flew up from london.
we played terribly, drew 0-0, and i just remember my depression, sitting in the empty departure lounge

city last year was a horrible result, considering the occasion, but it still ranks up there in my top memories.
