I actually would sign him if he was on the cheap.
He wasnt voted player of the year in Scotland last season for nothing you know.
The lad plays the game the right way, very attack minded and full of skill.
Not sure if he would definitely be a hit in the Premiership but he has the potential at times.
Ive watched this kid for years for both Ireland and Celtic and he has impressed
a lot (more so for Celtic tbf). He can be a bit inconsistent with his final ball at times
but that could be creased out with some top coaching.
I's actually rate him higher than Park and Nani to be honest.
Not much harder to be rated higher then Nni now TBH

lol
I wouldn't be inclined to sign him. We all know that Fergie was interested a few
seasons ago, but I simply don't see how he'd get a place in our team. He wastes
an incredible amount of possession at times, although he does have bags of skill
an ability. On the International stage, he's been a real, real disappointment IMO.
Can't really recall any great performances from him for Ireland, and with players
like Duff and Ireland in the squad, Trapp may find it hard to fit him into it.
Then comes our team, do you really think he could get into a wingers position
with the following players ahead of you in the pecking order?
- Ronaldo
- Giggs
- Park
- Fletcher
- Hargreaves (When fit
)
If we did end up getting him;
- He'd be a waste of money for anything above £10M IMO
- He'd have to settle as a back-up player
- Have much less of a chance of getting into the International squad as he
wouldn't be playing as much.
I know he's gonna he on his way out of Glasgow soon, but TBH, its Scottish football
he's playing in, where theres only really 3 maybe 4 good teams and then Rangers
and Celtic are ahead of them and they're no world beaters either, although I'd say
both would do nicely in the Premier League.
But as for McGeady signing for United, its a no, no, no from me
..

I would be inclined to agree...
